Real Liquidity has an immediate opening for a Web Developer. You will take over control from our current development team and work closely with management team to fine tune our platform. You will be working as a full-stack developer, adding new features and functionality and optimizing the backend. We are looking for someone who is self motivated, interested in developing as a programmer, and gets things done.

Responsibilities

  • Participate and design a plan for scaling our technology
  • Write, test, and debug object-oriented PHP 5 and JavaScript code
  • Participate in code reviews, software peer reviews and meetings with other developers
  • Understand and work around common issues like browser security
  • 3-5 years of industry experience developing web-based applications that interface with a database
  • Experience with the following technologies: object-oriented PHP, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3, mobile, JavaScript and MySQL
  • Hands-on experience in full life-cycle technical development projects
  • Experience with Source Code Management systems, ie.Git and SVN
  • Extensive experience in UI/UX design, development, deployment
  • Experience building dynamic web pages and fully-functional forms from the ground up
  • Experience in a modern programming language such as C++, Ruby, PHP, Java, or Python
  • Bachelors degree with a technical major or minor such as Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Background and strong familiarity in relational databases and writing SQL queries
  • Experience using source control and bug tracking systems and writing technical documentation.
